Focus and Scope
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dear Author,
We appreciate very much your decision to consider ARBS for publication. However, this journal will not be receiving manuscripts until December 2012 (a period that might be postponed). We apologize for any discomfort.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The Annual Review of Biomedical Sciences - ARBS - publishes peer-refereed reviews on diverse topics of the Biomedical Sciences. Coverage in ARBS spans subject areas such as Biochemistry, Genetics, Morphology, Physiology, Psychology, Behavior, Ecology and Evolution. Reviews on the whole range of animals, including invertebrates and humans or non-human vertebrates, are included.
ARBS welcomes reviews with theoretical, medical or production approaches. The reviews may focus on practical, basic, epidemiological or clinical approaches, and may involve molecular, systemic or whole-organism aspects.
The reviews should highlight unresolved questions and future directions, and provide an up-to-date synopsis for research workers in the chosen field. Reviews with bold and original proposals are especially welcome.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dear Author,
We appreciate very much your decision to consider ARBS for publication. However, this journal will not be receiving manuscripts until December 2012 (a period that might be postponed). We apologize for any discomfort.

Submitted manuscripts within the scope of this journal will be peer reviewed by anonymous referees. The Editor may decline to review manuscripts that do not comply with the requirements for content and format. When submitting a manuscript, authors may provide the names of up to four persons who they feel are qualified to review the manuscript. They may also request that the manuscript not be sent to particular persons for review. The Editor will select two or more reviewers for each manuscript.
The peer review is speed up as much as possible, trying to get a decision in about 30 days.
Manuscripts from invited authors are subjected only to style revision.
Publication Frequency
ARBS adopts an article-based publication system. Accordingly, individual items can be published as soon as they are ready, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents.
